MORE ABOUT ADAM

What are your primary responsibilities at Forge 53°?

I fabricate and weld the pieces outlined in the drawings supplied by the design team. My role involves ensuring each project comes to life based on the creative vision set by the designers.

How long have you been with Forge 53°, and what led you to join the company?

I’ve been with Forge 53° for 3 years. I was looking for a change from a career that wasn’t fulfilling when my spouse saw a post from Forge on Instagram. It sounded like something I’d enjoy, so I sent in my resume—and the rest is history.

What do you enjoy most about working at Forge 53°?

The family atmosphere. Working at Forge is like hanging out with family and best friends. Some of the most meaningful relationships I have today come from my coworkers. We care for each other, and it leads to open conversations, constructive criticism, and overall better work life.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I enjoy hanging out with my two kids, my dog Monty, and of course, my spouse. I’m also into RC car racing, rock crawling, hunting, and spending time outdoors.

What’s your favourite project you’ve worked on at Forge 53°?

Two projects stand out: the Michigan house, where I got to travel and see the homeowners’ reactions to our work, and a custom all-brass reception desk for a client in Ontario which challenged me every day. Both were tough but incredibly rewarding experiences.

What motivates you to do your best work every day?

To do better than the day before. I push myself to put out a product that blows people’s minds. I strive for constant improvement.

What’s your favourite book, movie, or TV show?

Lone Survivor—both the book and movie. It’s all about never giving up, doing your best every day, and caring for the people around you. It resonates with my values.

What is your favourite chip flavour?

Lime Tostitos, baby!
