The Lumsden Leather is a re-interpretation of one of our first furniture designs, the all-steel 'Lumsden' chair. The name Lumsden comes from the historic name of the street where Forge 53° co-founder Jesse grew up; Jesse's mom Elaine helped with the original prototype for the Lumsden's cushion and we wanted to pay homage to her support. The steel backing of the original is replaced with hand-studded supple leather, a nod to Alberta's ranching history. We designed this piece as a modern alternative to the classic leather armchair. Constructed from materials that will stand the test of time, the Lumsden Leather was designed and built in our Edmonton shop.

All Forge 53° pieces are made to order in our Edmonton shop. Please allow 8-10 weeks for production. Due to the nature of the materials used, the product you receive might vary slightly from the product picture.
